Wenchang /Hainan Province/, August 10 /Xinhua/ — The mission to launch a new satellite using a modified Long March-7 carrier rocket failed on Monday.

The rocket was supposed to launch the satellite “Zhongxing-4B” into orbit. It took off at 20:02 Beijing time from the Wenchang launch site in the island province of Hainan /Southern China/, but an abnormal situation occurred during the flight.
