Almaty, April 9 /Xin Hua/ — This autumn in Kazakhstan, the Astana AI Film Festival (AAIFF) will take place — one of the first international film festivals created using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. This was reported on Thursday by the Kazinform news agency.
The festival unites authors, digital creators, representatives of technological companies, experts, and investors. The platform is focused on projects that lie at the intersection of the film industry and AI technology.
The key event will be the international short film competition. The festival also plans a conference dedicated to II-content, pitch sessions for authors and producers, as well as screenings and discussions with the participation of international experts.
The festival will cover the entire content creation cycle—from idea to final product. Special attention will be given to new formats, including hybrid projects.
