Yerevan, April 9 /Xin Hua/ — The government of Armenia approved at a meeting on Thursday the decision to establish a zero customs duty rate on certain types of goods imported from Iran during 2026. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian government.
This concerns goods imported under established quotas: poultry meat /1000 tons/, potatoes /53 tons/, tomatoes /364 tons/, cucumbers /1791 tons/, apples /308 tons/ and other types of agricultural products.
It is noted that the basis for making this decision is a resolution of the Eurasian Economic Commission aimed at ensuring the implementation in 2026 of the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Iran.
