Beijing, July 29 /Xinhua/ — The Ministry of Finance of China announced on Wednesday that on August 5 of this year, the fourth tranche of government bonds denominated in Chinese yuan will be issued in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region /HKSAR/.
The volume of bonds will amount to 15 billion yuan /approximately 2.2 billion US dollars/, the agency’s statement says.
Specific information about the issuance scheme will be disclosed on the website of the Central Money Markets Unit of the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of Hong Kong, the agency stated. -0-
