Since April 9, 2026, Eldar Shavaliev, who previously headed the Digital Transformation Center of PJSC “KAMAZ”, has been appointed Deputy General Director – Director for Development of PJSC “KAMAZ”.
Eldar Shavaliev was born on September 21, 1988. In 2010 he graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University. Eldar Shavaliev began his professional career while still a student, successfully combining his studies at university with work as a programmer at one of Kazan’s scientific-production companies and as a senior economist-analyst at the joint-stock commercial bank “Ak Bars”. From 2010 to 2014, he worked at the largest international audit companies PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young.
In 2014, Eldar Shavaliyev became part of the KAMAZ team as head of the internal audit and compliance department. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as the head of the internal audit service of PJSC KAMAZ. In June 2018, he was appointed director of the Digital Transformation Center at KAMAZ. His professional competencies and previously gained experience served as a solid foundation for implementing large-scale projects in the field of digitalization in this position.In addition, under the leadership of Eldar Shavaliev, projects of the subsidiary IT company of the automotive giant KAMAZ Digital (‘Digital Platform KAMAZ’) were actively developed, which today ranks among the largest IT suppliers in the industry.
Evgeny Makarov, who was acting Deputy General Director of PJSC “KAMAZ” – Development Director, remained in the position of Chief Designer of PJSC “KAMAZ” – Director of the Research and Technology Center.
