Near the southern rose garden at VDNH, a new photo exhibition opens on July 22. On the stands, residents and visitors of the capital will be able to see the winners of the “Moscow Masters” contest. They were photographed at their workplaces — in a museum, park, kitchen, hospital, ambulance station, and many other places.
“Moscow Masters” is an annual city competition for those who make the capital better every day. Rescuers, engineers, public transport drivers, medical workers, and representatives of other in-demand professions compete for the title of the best in their field.
The competition is being held for the 29th time within the framework of the social partnership system between the Moscow Government, the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, and the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, with the support of the city’s Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy.
In its nearly 30 years of existence, it has become one of the most prominent urban projects: the number of professions represented in the competition increased from seven to 40 by 2026. Over the entire history of the “Moscow Masters” competition, more than 1.3 million people have participated — these are specialists of all ages and experience levels, but traditionally more than half of the contestants are young people.
