The A.F. Losev House invites you to a lecture “The Personal Experience of a Playwright,” dedicated to contemporary dramaturgy. The event will be led by Olga Zaymentseva — a playwright, screenwriter, poet, and visionary. During the lecture, participants will learn what a biopic is and what place this genre occupies in contemporary dramaturgy.
Olga Zaymentseva is the author of plays about writers Daniil Kharms and Velimir Khlebnikov. The playwright combines text and image in her work and also works in the field of auteur cinema. She was awarded the International Prize named after David Burliuk, the father of Russian futurism, for her biopic play about Velimir Khlebnikov. In addition, Olga Zaymentseva is a laureate of the Valentin Chernykh “Slovo” screenwriting award.
