In the north of Moscow, nearly a thousand residents of the Dmitrovsky district have begun a phased inspection of new apartments in the residential complex built according to renovation program. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
“At the end of July, nearly a thousand participants of the renovation program in the Dmitrovsky district of the Northern Administrative Okrug of the capital began the phased inspection of apartments in the residential complex at the address: 5 Dolgoprudnaya Street. The building was constructed on the site of previously resettled and demolished houses under the renovation program, whose residents have already moved into new apartments in the same district. This is the eighth new building handed over for occupancy in the district under the program. A total of 55 houses are included in the active renovation program in Dmitrovsky district, with approximately four thousand families planned to be resettled,” said Vladimir Yefimov.
Nearby the new house there are schools, kindergartens, and medical institutions. Seven minutes on foot is the Lianozovo station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line.
According to the Minister of the Moscow Government, the head of the city’s Department of Urban Planning Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky, the residential area of the new building is over 24 thousand square meters, the building consists of seven sections, it has 421 apartments, nine of which are designed for people with limited mobility.
“The apartments have been finished according to the renovation program standards so that future residents can move in comfortably without spending effort and money on additional repairs. Spacious entrances include rooms for concierges, storage rooms for strollers and bicycles, and elevators are installed. On the first non-residential floor of the new residential complex, social and utility facilities may open in the future. The courtyard is equipped with children’s and sports playgrounds as well as a relaxation area,” clarified Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Renovation program approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and provides for the resettlement of 5,176 houses.
