Jerusalem, July 19 / Xinhua / — Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Eyal Zamir said on Sunday that the Israeli military is ready to immediately resume combat operations against Iran. This was stated in an IDF announcement.
Speaking to the senior command staff during an operational meeting in the IDF division on the West Bank of the Jordan River, E. Zamir noted that the Israel Defense Forces are closely monitoring the situation in Iran and maintain a high state of readiness.
