Minsk, July 17 /Xinhua/ — Belarus’s gross domestic product grew by 1.5 percent in the period from January to June 2026. The relevant information was published by Belarus’s National Statistical Committee /Belstat/ on Friday.
According to the first estimate, the country’s GDP in current prices amounted to 149.6 billion Belarusian rubles / about 51.8 billion US dollars /, or in comparable prices 101.5 percent of the level of the same period in 2025.
The GDP deflator index in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year was 113.3 percent.
