Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting dedicated to supplying the regions within the framework of the northern supply, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, and sector companies.

The meeting covered issues related to fuel supply for the regions where northern delivery is carried out, including the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Magadan Region, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, and Krasnoyarsk Krai.

We analyzed the current situation in the domestic regional fuel markets, the existing reserves of petroleum products, the condition and functioning of logistics routes, and the operation of the fuel distribution network. Special attention was paid to the timeliness of delivering the necessary resources to hard-to-reach settlements.

Alexander Novak recommended that industry companies comply with the obligations provided by law for the supply of petroleum products as part of the northern delivery, and also noted that ensuring stable and timely fuel supply to the regions remains one of the priorities of the work of the Government and regional authorities.
