As part of the “Lepota” project, the first workout session for employees took place. The warm-up was conducted by Kristina Kapinus, a member of the Russian national team in sports tourism in the discipline of “Nordic walking”, and a two-time world vice-champion.

The “Lepota” project is a system of activities that help students and staff feel comfortable both psychologically and physically on the Polytech campus, as well as increase motivation for studying and working. The Polytechnic University creates an atmosphere of well-being that permeates all areas of life of students and staff.

Now, during the lunch break, every employee of Polytech has the opportunity to take a break from work tasks and devote some time to physical exercise in the fresh air. This event is an important part of the development of corporate sports, a contribution to the well-being of the team.

The development of corporate sports at the university is intended to address several objectives at once: strengthening employees’ health, enhancing team cohesion, and preventing professional burnout. Regular outdoor activities help compensate for the lack of physical movement that is inevitable in office work, allowing individuals to return to intellectual tasks with renewed energy.

A university is primarily an intellectual community where the most complex scientific and educational challenges are addressed daily. But we fully understand that brain productivity directly depends on the condition of the body and the emotional background. By organizing regular exercise sessions for employees, we aim not just to maintain physical health, but to create conditions for the harmonious development of personality and life balance for each team member. Such activities help to switch focus and restore inner resources,

Moreover, by participating in outdoor exercise sessions, the employees of Polytech set an example for students, demonstrating that taking care of one’s health is the foundation of success.
