200 participants from 32 regions of the country improved their project thinking skills at the State University of Management.
Schoolchildren and students were welcomed by the Vice-Rector of the State University of Management, Dmitry Bryukhanov, who introduced the organization of project-based learning at our university:
“It is symbolic that the project school is held within the walls of the State University of Management, which rightfully is the leader in project-based learning in the country. From the first year, 100% of students solve tasks from partners and gain practical experience. This is especially important today, when project thinking is becoming essential for people of all ages and professions.”
During the two days of training, participants not only studied theory in lectures on communications, leadership, and project management, but also tested their skills in group practical problem-solving.
One of the speakers was the expert coach from the Senezh Management Workshop, winner of the Leaders of Russia competition, and speaker of the Knowledge Society, Oleg Lebedev, who emphasized the importance of education and a conscious approach to decision-making: “Our life is the result of our choices.”
Ekaterina Illarionova, Director of the Project Mentorship Center at the State University of Management, noted during a discussion on the principles of teamwork: “Leaders are not born, they become leaders, and at the State University of Management, we teach this.”
A startup worth several million was presented by GUU graduate student Mikhail Zorin: his team is developing an innovative wearable ECG sensor “CHRONO C1,” which received a grant of 1 million rubles and investments exceeding 2.5 million rubles for development. Moreover, the school participants were invited to develop marketing strategy options for this product.
In conclusion, the authors of the best ideas and the most active participants in solving the problems received commemorative prizes and awards.
