On July 14, 2026, the Bank of Russia issues a commemorative silver coin with a denomination of 2 rubles “The First President of the Chechen Republic Akhmat-Khadzhi Abdulhamidovich Kadyrov, on the 75th anniversary of his birth” from the series “Outstanding Personalities of Russia” (catalog number 5110-0196).
The silver coin with a face value of 2 rubles (precious metal mass in pure form – 15.55 g, alloy standard – 925) is circular in shape with a diameter of 33.0 mm.
There is a raised rim along the circumference on both the obverse and reverse sides of the coin.
The obverse side of the coin features a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, with inscriptions: “RUSSIAN FEDERATION,” “BANK OF RUSSIA,” the coin denomination “2 RUBLES,” the year of issue “2026,” the symbol of the metal according to D.I. Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Elements, the alloy fineness, the trademark of the Saint Petersburg Mint, and the mass of the precious metal in purity.
On the reverse side of the coin, there are relief images of a portrait of Akhmat Kadyrov and the city of Grozny against the background of an image of the Caucasus Mountains executed using laser matting technique; there are inscriptions: at the bottom around the circumference – “AKHMAT-KHADJI ABDULHAMIDOVICH KADYROV”, on the left – “1951”, on the right – “2004”.
The edge surface of the coin is reeded.
The coin is made with “proof” quality.
The coin mintage is 3,000 pieces;
The issued coin is a legal tender for cash payments within the territory of the Russian Federation and must be accepted at face value for all types of payments without restrictions.
