Beijing, July 9 /Xinhua/ — China aims to create a “significant number” of new jobs and maintain the surveyed unemployment rate in urban and town areas within 5.5% during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, according to the Human Resources and Social Security Development Plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030).
A document released on Thursday by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China states that during the specified period, more than 95 percent of the country’s population will be covered by basic pension insurance.
