Employees of the Tyumen Project Institute of “Rosneft” have developed a fundamentally new technological solution that allows optimizing the layout of equipment at cluster sites of fields. The new scheme for placing onshore facilities ensures a significant reduction in occupied area while maintaining all operational characteristics.

Installing the noise suppressor directly in the submersible pump control station eliminated excessive distance between equipment components. In addition, the clearances between the transformers and the enclosure have been optimized.

As a result of the new approach, the area occupied by the equipment was reduced by 47%. At the same time, the functionality and reliability of the facilities remain at the previous high level.

The technology has already proven its effectiveness: in 2025, the layout solution was used in the design of 224 facilities and became the new standard for the arrangement of cluster sites.

Reducing the area of cluster sites provides a multiplicative economic effect that extends to all stages of construction. Costs for land allocation and site preparation decrease, volumes of construction and installation work are reduced, and material consumption goes down.

As part of the implementation of the Rosneft 2030 development strategy, the Company consistently optimizes production processes. A systematic approach to cost management and the introduction of innovations allow it to maintain a leading position in the industry and ensure sustainable growth amid changing market conditions.
