“KAMAZ” delivered another batch of humanitarian aid: 124 tons of humanitarian cargo worth over 100 million rubles were sent to the sponsored military units in the zone of the Special Military Operation.

The solemn ceremony of sending the humanitarian cargo, held in Naberezhnye Chelny, was attended by Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, Alfia Kogogina, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Nail Magdeev, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as the company’s leaders and employees.

Sergey Kogogin thanked the staff of the automotive giant for their active participation in supporting servicemen, military units, and the population of the new subjects of Russia. “Today we have gathered here to carry out an important mission. We are sending another batch of humanitarian aid to the servicemen of the affiliated military units, where our soldiers are serving with honor during these extremely difficult times. It is especially symbolic that this is happening in an anniversary year – the 50th anniversary of the first KAMAZ production and the 400th anniversary of Naberezhnye Chelny., – noted the head of KAMAZ. – At this very moment, our colleagues from KAMAZ are on the front line. They are bringing victory closer together with thirty thousand factory workers who daily, on the production floor, in workshops, and offices, work to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities. KAMAZ has never stood aside, showing responsiveness and genuine care for those who urgently need it. Therefore, we do everything possible both for our fighters and for their loved ones so that they fulfill their duty and secure victory.

Traditionally, the recipients of the humanitarian cargo will be three military units under the patronage of KAMAZ from the first days of the special military operation, as well as the military commandant’s office of the Kherson region. The cargo was formed directly based on the requests of the regiment commanders and the fighters themselves, taking into account the recipients’ needs. This time, KAMAZ sent a convoy with humanitarian cargo weighing a total of 124 tons and valued at 101 million rubles. It includes four KAMAZ trucks, four passenger cars, a motorcycle, engines, fully assembled wheels, and spare parts of nearly 1,700 types, camouflage nets, personal parcels from colleagues and loved ones, letters, newspapers, and national treats such as chak-chak and kazylik. Overall, since 2022, the company has sent humanitarian aid totaling over 1.6 billion rubles, weighing over 2,000 tons.
