In the Moscow region, they have begun the second phase of construction of the interchange at the intersection of the Central Ring Road (CKAD) and Dmitrov Highway. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“We are conducting systematic work on the infrastructural development of the country. This includes the formation and strengthening of the road framework. It is an integral part of the construction complex’s activities aimed at improving the quality of life for Russians. For example, we are modernizing existing roads and building new ones, connecting them into a single network through transport interchanges. One of such facilities will appear in the Moscow region, at the intersection of the Central Ring Road (CKAD) and Dmitrovskoye Highway. The second stage of the construction of this transport interchange has begun here. During the project implementation, specialists will build a turnaround loop over Dmitrovskoye Highway towards Moscow, reconstruct two exits, and a section of Dmitrovskoye Highway. As a result, the transport interchange will increase capacity and safety at the intersection of A-107 “Moscow Small Ring” and Dmitrovskoye Highway by redistributing traffic flows. In addition, it will improve transport accessibility for both residents and employees of enterprises located in the adjacent areas,” said Marat Khusnullin.

The Deputy Prime Minister clarified that the construction of the artificial structures complex at the intersection of the Central Ring Road (TsKAD) and Dmitrovskoye Highway is being carried out in phases. Earlier, within the first phase, three overpasses were erected, four exits were built, and 2.3 km of the A-107 highway “Moscow Small Ring” (“MSR”) was reconstructed. Traffic on them was launched last year.

According to Vyacheslav Petushenko, Chairman of the Management Board of the state company “Avtodor”, preparatory work is currently underway at the site to arrange temporary roads and organize the construction area.

“Currently, specialists are performing the immersion and dynamic testing of trial piles for the future overpass. They have also begun the installation of the pile foundation for the flexible grillage of the left-turn signal-free exit from the A-107 ‘MMK’ to Moscow. In addition, preparatory work has started on the installation of local treatment facilities designed for the collection, filtration, and purification of stormwater and meltwater runoff from the road surface. These hydraulic structures help reduce the impact of road infrastructure on the environment and support its natural state. For the comfort and safety of users, the site plans to install electric lighting lines, barrier fencing, noise protection screens, and other road safety elements. During the construction period, four-lane traffic will be maintained on the main course of Dmitrovskoye Highway,” noted Vyacheslav Petushenko.

The completion of all construction and installation works at the site is expected by the end of 2027.
