Zabaykalsky Krai has joined the number of regions whose customers can post procurements on the metropolitan suppliers portal. It is the 49th constituent entity of the Russian Federation to gain this capability. This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Department of Economic Policy and City Development.

“Geography supplier portal is continuing to expand: Zabaykalsky Krai has become the 49th region whose customers have gained the ability to conduct procurements on the platform. Now, state and municipal institutions of the region can purchase necessary goods, works, and services from more than 420 thousand suppliers across the country, obtaining the best offers under conditions of fair competition. At the same time, entrepreneurs of the krai are already well acquainted with the portal’s capabilities: they have been working on it since 2015. Their products are in demand in Moscow, Novgorod Region, Perm and Krasnodar Krais, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and other subjects of the Russian Federation. Most often, customers purchased household, construction, information technology, and medical goods from suppliers in Zabaykalsky, as well as services for sanitary maintenance,

In 2026, six regions joined the supplier portal — including the Trans-Baikal Territory. Among the new regions-customers on the platform this year are the Kursk, Jewish Autonomous, and Lipetsk regions, as well as the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kamchatka Territory.

“Connecting new regions to the supplier portal allows existing users to expand established business ties and creates additional opportunities for increasing the number of deals. Currently, more than 280 companies and entrepreneurs from Transbaikalia are registered on the resource. With the connection of the Transbaikalia Territory as a customer, local suppliers will be able not only to continue accessing markets of other regions but also to participate more actively in procurement in their own territory. In turn, entrepreneurs from other subjects of the Russian Federation will have the opportunity to offer goods, works, and services to Transbaikalian customers,” said the head of the Moscow Department for Competitive Policy.

Kirill Purtov.

Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin spoke about capabilities, which the supplier portal opens to businesses from all over the country.

In Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow They explained that regions connecting to the supplier portal can choose a convenient working format. There are two options: to post procurements and execute contracts directly on the platform or to integrate with their own regional information system in the procurement field.

Supplier Portal, launched in 2013, has become an effective tool for automating small-volume procurement. It helps to establish interaction between government customers and businesses. The platform’s catalog contains more than 3.7 million unique items of goods, works, and services, and the daily number of contracts concluded exceeds 1,500.

The functional customer of the portal is the metropolitan Department of Competition Policy, and its technical development is overseen by Moscow Department of Information Technologies.
