Moscow Export Center (MEC), together with the Export School of the Russian Export Center, is recruiting participants for the acceleration program “Export of High-Tech Products.” The project will involve 20 manufacturers from the Moscow region who plan to bring their products to international markets. Applications are accepted on the website MEC.

“The key feature of the accelerator ‘Export of High-Tech Products’ is the parallel development of three target markets by the company within the framework of training. The program is result-oriented — at the end, each participant will develop a ready export strategy, an adapted commercial offer, and a promotion roadmap with real buyer contacts. The program integrates modules dedicated to international certification and patent protection — issues that manufacturers often face when entering foreign markets. Additionally, each participant is assigned a personal mentor who conducts weekly working sessions and helps them move toward the goal,” said Vitaly Stepanov, General Director of the Moscow Export Center.

The acceleration program “Export of High-Tech Products” will help companies not only enter international markets but also train personnel for foreign economic activities. Students of the program will be involved in the accelerator’s work

The “International Business” program of the Higher School of Business at the National Research University Higher School of Economics. They will join project teams as trainee analysts and will solve real business problems of exporting companies, combining practice with study.

The program is aimed at enterprises in high-tech industries. These include robotics and instrumentation, aircraft manufacturing and unmanned aerial systems, telecommunications equipment, medical devices and biotechnology, oil and gas and energy engineering. Companies of small, medium, and large businesses can participate, provided their core activity has been conducted for at least three years and their revenue for the last financial year is from 50 million rubles.

The training is designed for 120 academic hours and consists of six modules. Classes are conducted remotely. Between modules, project work is provided. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a certificate of advanced training of the established form.

The Moscow Export Center provides participants in the program with special conditions, co-financing most of the training. Companies from the capital need to pay only 20 percent of the participation cost, that is, 50 thousand rubles.

Moscow Export Center created by the Moscow Government in 2017 as a tool to support city entrepreneurs. The center helps promote goods and services in foreign markets through financial and non-financial measures. The center operates under the supervision of Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow. Its goals are to increase the number of exporters in the capital and to grow their revenue. Today, MEC supports businesses at all stages of the export journey — from training in the basics of foreign economic activity to promotion abroad, sales support, and financial incentives after contracts are signed. The center’s arsenal includes more than 30 different support measures.

As part of the national project implementation “International Cooperation and Export” One of Russia’s national development goals is planned to be achieved: by 2030, the volume of exports of non-raw, non-energy goods should increase by at least two thirds compared to 2023.
