In September 2026, 14 new residential complexes were built and commissioned in the capital for implementation renovation programs. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
“In September, 14 new buildings for the renovation program appeared in seven administrative districts of the capital: four houses in the South-Eastern Administrative District, three in the South-Western, two each in the Eastern and North-Western districts. One residential complex was built in the north, north-east, and south of Moscow. In total, almost 4,500 apartments with an area of over 232 thousand square meters have been arranged in them. The apartments have convenient layouts and finished interiors. For comfortable living of people with limited mobility, 43 apartments have been specially adapted, and a barrier-free environment is provided in all common areas. The adjacent territories have been landscaped: driveways and sidewalks have been asphalted, more than 30 children’s and sports grounds installed, and over 15 recreational areas equipped,” noted Vladimir Efimov.
Residential complexes were built from high-quality materials, connected to individual heating stations, equipped with modern engineering systems and fire protection systems. Advanced solutions will ensure a long service life for the buildings and comfortable living for the residents.
On the ground floors of the new buildings, infrastructure spaces have been provided where shops, pharmacies, order pickup points, and other in-demand services can be accommodated. Each such space has a separate entrance from the street.
The entrance halls were comprehensively finished, equipped with convenient entrances featuring stained glass glazing, stroller rooms, concierge rooms, spacious lobbies, and elevator halls.
The houses were built according to individual projects. Thanks to modern architecture and well-thought-out facade designs, the new residential complexes harmoniously blended into the surrounding neighborhood development.
The houses are located in areas with well-developed social and domestic infrastructure. Nearby are metro stations and city transport stops, retail outlets, various service centers, educational and medical institutions, as well as park areas.
The work of the experts of “Moscow Control” ensures a high standard of construction for the renovation program’s buildings.
“Inspectors of Mosgosstroynadzor regularly conducted control and supervision activities at construction sites as part of the renovation program implementation. In the buildings completed in September, over 100 on-site inspections in total took place, resulting in conclusions confirming that the new buildings comply with the project documentation requirements and permits being issued for their commissioning,” noted the Chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and provides for the resettlement of 5,176 houses. Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin instructed to increase the pace of implementation of the renovation program two times. He also said that thanks to the original architecture, the new building under the renovation program became new attraction Tsaritsyno district.
