First-year students of the State University of Management took the first two places at the hackathon of JSC “Rosselkhozbank”. The hackathon took place on October 10, 2026, and was dedicated to the economic problems of the agro-industrial complex.
First place was awarded to first-year students of the educational program “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” at GUU, Andrey Makeev, Anastasia Arestova, and Maria Eliseeva – for the best concept and thoroughly developed solution model.
Second place – for an innovative approach and accuracy of calculations – also went to the freshmen of the State University of Management: it was taken by Vladislav Leonidov and Pavel Tartachakov.
The task was ambitious: to develop a viable startup that would solve real problems for farmers or help them optimize their work.
Six strong teams with serious ideas met at the venue, but our guys were on top and literally “tore apart” the final.
How did first-year students manage to outperform more experienced participants? It’s all about a fresh perspective and a deep understanding of logistics processes, which they are already starting to study at GUU. Applying knowledge of supply chains in the agricultural sector became their main trump card!
Congratulations to our guys! Thanks to Rosselkhozbank for the awesome challenge and the opportunity to prove themselves!
The hackathon organized by JSC “Rosselkhozbank” was held on the basis of the international Agrofestival “Harvest of Technologies,” which took place on October 9-10, 2026, in Moscow at the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM.
