On October 17, a family event of the project will be held at the Mega Khimki shopping center (mall) “Moscow Transport. For Children”. Young passengers and their parents are awaited for meetings with beloved characters, games, and workshops. The program starts at 15:00. Admission is free.
“The project ‘Moscow Transport. For Children’ helps young passengers learn more about city transport and the professions that make its operation comfortable and safe in a playful and engaging way. Since the beginning of this year, more than 50 events have been held with our children’s characters, attended by over 150,000 children and their parents. We continue to create new formats to make getting to know Moscow transport even more interesting for the whole family,” noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The event will take place in the “Delicious Boulevard” space. Guests of the family celebration can expect a rich program. At 3:00 PM, there will be a ceremonial opening, after which until 5:00 PM children will be able to play with the characters of the “Moscow Transport. For Children” project — Metrosha, Rechkin, and Elektrobusik.
At 15:10 and 16:00, transport complex employees will give lectures about their work and tell young passengers about the specialists who ensure that city transport provides comfortable and safe rides for millions of passengers every day. At 17:05, those interested will test their knowledge in a transport quiz. At 17:15, the performance by artists from the “Music in the Metro” project will begin, and starting at 17:30, guests will watch educational videos from the “Moscow Transport. For Children” project. The celebration will end at 18:00.
Throughout the entire event, there will be a children’s zone and a workshop area. Guests will be able to get temporary tattoos and receive souvenirs for active participation.
The project “Moscow Transport for Children” was created in 2023 by order of Sergey Sobyanin. Its characters personify different types of transport: Metrosha represents underground transport, Rechkin — river transport, and Elektrobüsik — surface transport. They teach young passengers about safety rules and behavior in transport. Since the beginning of this year alone, more than 50 events have been held within the project, attended by over 150 thousand children and their parents.
