About 150 couples got married at the MosKino film park, subordinate to the capital Department of Culture, this year as part of the Moscow Mayor’s project for on-site marriage registration “New Addresses of Happiness”. The most popular date for holding a wedding ceremony became September 3.

In 2025, this unique venue for starting a family was chosen by 156 couples. Over just two years, around 300 newlyweds have gotten married in the film park.

“We have completed the second wedding season at one of the unusual venues of the ‘New Addresses of Happiness’ project — at the MosKino film park. Starting from 2025, 300 couples have already chosen to get married in film sets. Lovers say their vows on the stage of a scaled-down replica of the ‘Gonzaga Theater’, and hold their first family photoshoot immediately at several themed locations within the film park,” she noted

Svetlana Ukhaneva, head of the Civil Registry Office of the city of Moscow.

The solemn marriage registration ceremonies at the MosKino film park are held in the Gonzaga Theater. The unusual yet intimate setting of the hall, with velvet curtains, a stage, and chairs upholstered in red silk, allows couples to feel like the heroes of a new episode of their own new life.

“After the official ceremony, the newlyweds went for a photo shoot at the famous film sets: ‘Princely Chambers,’ ‘Cathedral Square,’ ‘Port City,’ ‘Cowboy Town,’ and ‘Moscow 1940s.’ The new wedding season at the MosKino film park will start in April–May 2027 and last through September,” added Sitora Dargel, Deputy General Director of the ANO ‘Kinopark’ for event marketing.

The dates of the ceremonies will be announced in the fourth quarter of this year and will be published in the service “Our Wedding”. After that, the submission of marriage applications will open. This can be done at least one month and at most one year before the chosen date on the public services portal, mos.ru, as well as at the South Butovo Marriage Palace. The state fee is 350 rubles.

The first marriage registration in the film park took place on March 1, 2025, at the “Prince’s Chambers” venue. In 2025, on the eve of the New Year, themed ceremonies were also held at the “Father Frost’s House” venue.
