On the left bank of the Moscow River in the Presnensky district, the reconstruction of the Shelepikhinskaya embankment section has been completed. The promenade area is now decorated with two art objects: a unique artistic manhole cover and a mirrored photo zone. They not only beautify the embankment but also allow visitors to take memorable photos against the backdrop of the renovated public space.

“When improving urban spaces, it is important not only to create a comfortable environment for walks and relaxation, but also to think through the details that make each place recognizable. Two art objects have appeared on the Shelepikhinskaya embankment, designed specifically for this area. The artistic manhole cover will emphasize the role of builders in creating this space, and the mirrored photo zone will allow residents and guests of the city to capture picturesque views of the renewed embankment,” noted Maria Derunova, First Deputy Head of the Coordination Department of the Moscow Urban Planning Policy and Construction Complex.

The design of the artistic manhole cover was specially created for the Shelepikhinskaya Embankment. This object symbolizes the contribution of builders to the creation of modern urban infrastructure. The mirrored photo zone is located at the spot with the most picturesque view. The art objects were developed and installed by the Moscow City Urban Planning Policy and Construction Complex.

Shelepikhinskaya Embankment is located on the left bank of the Moscow River and adjoins the business center “Moscow City.” Previously, Sergey Sobyanin said that as part of the reconstruction, they built here new section the embankment from the Academician Korolev Bridge to the junction with the Karamyshevskaya Embankment in the area of the 3rd Silicate Passage, as well as created a space for relaxation and walks by the water.
