A new venue for outdoor photo exhibitions will appear in the capital. It will be located in the Fili-Davydkovo district under a complex of five canopies of the Slavyansky Bulvar Moscow city railway station. In total, there will be more than 20 similar places in the capital for hosting exhibitions of the Moscow Directorate of Mass Events, which is subordinate to the capital’s Department of Culture.

The exhibitions will operate around the clock, thanks to the fact that the transport hub canopies are illuminated and also protect visitors from bad weather. The displays are planned to be updated regularly.

MGV Slavyansky Bulvar is located near the metro station of the same name. Trains of the first also stop here Moscow Central Diameter, suburban direction and Aeroexpress trains proceeding to Sheremetyevo Airport.

The first exhibition will be a photo exhibition “I am 100 years old!”, dedicated to the anniversary of the legendary composer Alexander Zatsepin. It will open on October 11. Visitors will be able to see unique photographs from the family archive, covering a century-long history of the composer’s life. The outdoor exhibition was created under the direct curatorship of Alexander Zatsepin himself and is written in the first person. Previously, the project was exhibited on Gogolevsky Boulevard.

Over the past 12 years, open-air photo exhibitions have become unique exhibition objects in urban spaces. They harmoniously fit into pedestrian zones and turn a walk into an educational adventure. Currently, street photo exhibitions are held at 20 sites in the city center, including Tverskoy, Gogolevsky, Nikitsky, Chistoprudny, Tsvetnoy, Rozhdestvensky, and Strastnoy boulevards, Arbat Street, Klimentovsky Lane, as well as in the Moscow Metro square in Sokolniki.

Over the past year, more than 7.3 million people have visited outdoor photo exhibitions. The interest of city residents and visitors to the capital in this format is growing: attendance and the number of responses increase every year.

You can follow the schedule of street photo exhibitions on the website of the Moscow Directorate of Mass Events in the section “Photo Exhibitions”.
