The Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line became the only line of the Moscow metro, all stations of which are equipped with digital navigation elements. Similar signs are also operating on the Troitskaya and Large Circular Lines. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

“At just five stations of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line, we have installed 160 innovative signs. The digital navigation project was launched by Sergey Sobyanin in 2024. In two years, the number of metro lines with digital navigation on stations has tripled. As part of the Moscow transport development strategy until 2030, more than 3,400 digital signs will appear in the metro,” noted Maksim Liksutov.

Digital signs operate at all five stations of the graphite line — “Delovoy Tsentr”, “Shelepikha”, “Zvenigorodskaya”, “Narodnoe Opolchenie”, and “General Karbyshev Boulevard.”

All 160 digital navigation elements are connected to a remote content update system. Metro specialists actively use this capability: in the first month of the line’s operation alone, the information was updated more than five times promptly. Additional information, including safety guidelines, was also displayed on the navigation elements.

The most digital navigation elements were installed at the Zvenigorodskaya station — 49. For the first time, innovative signs appeared at the Delovoy Tsentr station, from where passengers can exit to the largest business cluster in Moscow.

Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line opened by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin on City Day.

The construction was carried out by the Moscow City Urban Planning Policy and Construction Complex.

“We have launched another, the 17th line of the Moscow Metro. An important feature of the first opened section of the new radius was the integration of the ‘Delovoy Tsentr’ and ‘Shelepikha’ stations, which previously operated as part of the Large Circle Line: specialists carried out extensive work, including combining engineering networks and integrating equipment into the metro’s automated control system. Concurrently, construction work on new stations was underway. For their safe and technically correct operation, various engineering systems are also necessary, including power supply, lighting, ventilation, and climate control. Safety is ensured by a video surveillance system, as well as inspection and other equipment. In addition, electronic management and automation systems are being implemented. In total, at the three new stations on the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line — ‘Zvenigorodskaya,’ ‘Narodnoe Opolchenie,’ and ‘Bulvar Generala Karbysheva’ — nearly 45 thousand units of Russian-made equipment have been connected,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction.
