A solemn award ceremony for the winners of the 14th All-Russian Festival of Young Talents “The Magical Power of the Blue Stream — Mosgaz Lights the Stars” took place in the capital. In 2026, more than 1,500 children from 73 regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, participated in the competition. More than 50 children became laureates.
“It is very important that Mosgaz continues to hold this competition, where stars are born. It is joyful to see young talents improving their creative skills. One must always find opportunities for new achievements, make works even more interesting, and for this it is necessary to visit museums, exhibitions, look at the paintings of old masters, draw outdoors, and of course, to imagine. This is also significant, because imagination gives birth to new forms. You are the true stars and the hope of our country; the development of culture, through which bridges between people are built, depends on you. Thank you for your works, I always enjoy looking at them and rejoice in your successes. Good luck and new accomplishments!” — addressed the participants a member of the festival’s organizing committee, People’s Artist of Russia, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikas Safronov.
The participants’ works were evaluated in the following categories: “Eternal Flame — Eternal Memory,” “Everyday Life and Holidays of the Gas Service,” and “The World of My Home.” The jury included members of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Union of Artists of Russia, professors from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov under the Russian Academy of Arts, as well as representatives of international art associations. The winner of the special category “Audience Choice Award” was determined by users through a public vote on the festival’s official website.
“The festival is taking place for the 14th time. Over this time, it has become a good tradition and an important platform for the development of young talents. Together with the participants, teachers, and jury members, we have done a great deal of work, and I am glad that each year the festival brings together more and more passionate young people. I thank all the participants for their interest in the festival, their courage to express themselves, and their aspiration for new achievements, and I thank the teachers and experts for their professionalism and contribution to the development of young talents. I am confident that for many, the festival will be the beginning of a great creative journey. I wish everyone to believe in themselves, not to be afraid to set high goals, and to continue creating. May the festival become for you a source of inspiration, new opportunities, and bright victories,” noted Darya Raspopova, Deputy General Director of JSC “Mosgaz” for Public Relations.
After the awards ceremony, the exhibition of works by the festival winners was opened. Young artists presented their pieces to the jury members, shared the stories behind their creation, and received valuable advice from recognized masters.
A musical gift for the guests of the ceremony was the performances by the participants of the vocal contest of the festival ‘Mosgaz Ignites the Stars’. Tatyana Babkina performed the song ‘My Motherland’, and Sofya Nikitenko — ‘Happiness to You, Earth’.
