A modern terminal station for urban transport will appear in the north of the capital in the Molzhaninovsky district. Its architectural concept has already been approved. This was reported by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction.
“An architectural concept for the building of the final station of urban transport in the Molzhaninovsky district has been approved. The facility will be located near the structure at: Leningradskoye Highway, house 300a, building 29. It will become an important part of the development of the local street and road network. A turning area for buses and electric buses will be organized here, as well as the construction of the building itself. The concept has been developed taking into account modern architectural trends,” noted Vladimir Yefimov.
The building will be equipped with rest rooms for drivers and controllers, as well as a dining area, a server room, an electrical panel room, and sanitary facilities.
“By the order of Sergey Sobyanin, we continue to develop infrastructure to improve the efficiency of surface urban transport. Terminal stations for buses and electric buses allow transport to start operating immediately in the required area, and drivers can comfortably rest between trips. Today, the capital already has over 170 such stations,” added the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The construction will be carried out in a modern style. The use of metal-ceramic cassettes with a wood texture will be not only an aesthetic but also a practical solution: the material is durable, resistant to environmental influences, and requires no complex maintenance. The contrasting combination of light and dark tones will create a dynamic visual rhythm and allow the building to harmoniously blend into the surrounding development.
The main material for the facades will be metal-ceramic cassettes in two shades — “light walnut” and “dark walnut.” The plinth will be clad with dark porcelain stoneware tiles, the window frames will be painted black, and the glazing will be made of tinted glass, which will help reduce solar load on the interior spaces.
Thanks to the new terminal station, the transportation service for residents of the northern part of the capital will improve, and the work comfort of drivers and other urban ground transport personnel will increase.
