More than 340 thousand trips have been made since the beginning of the year by users of the on-demand transportation service “Po puti”. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maxim Liksutov.

“By the order of Sergey Sobyanin, we continue to improve passenger services in ground urban transport. One of these is the ‘On the Way’ project, which opened a new format of trips for residents of districts and settlements remote from the center. Over five years, comfortable small-class buses have transported more than three million passengers,” noted Maxim Liksutov.

Comfortable small-class buses allow you to reach popular places, six metro stations, and Moscow Central Diameters (MCD), as well as to important social institutions.

The fare for the “Po puti” service is the same as on city transport when paying by bank card. The buses, with a distinctive visible livery, stop at 320 stops. Of these, 88 are virtual, marked with a special sign, and 232 are on existing ground city transport routes.

Since the beginning of summer, two new stops have appeared — “Derevnya Miloradovo” in the Kommunarka area and “Alkhimovskaya Street (school)” in Shcherbinka.

Booking a bus in the “On the Way” service operates on the same principle as a taxi. You can arrange a trip through the app. “Moscow Metro”. To do this, you need to select the departure and destination locations on the map or enter the address in the search bar, determine the route, specify the number of passengers and the payment method. The arrival time of the vehicle and the route to the boarding point will be displayed in the app. Upon boarding, it is necessary to scan the QR code at the entrance, which confirms the start of the trip. During the trip, the current location of the bus and the time of its completion are shown on the map.

The “Po puti” service helps to get to the “Prokshino” and “Buninskaya Alleya” metro stations, as well as to the Shcherbinka, Ostafyevo, Silikatnaya, and Skolkovo MCD stations.

In two zones and four districts of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Administrative Okrugs (TiNAO), the “On the Way” service is available from 05:30 to 23:00, with vehicles reaching up to five stations of the rail framework. In Skolkovo, buses operate from 07:00 to 21:00 and stop at the MCD “Skolkovo” station.

A transportation service unique to Russia called “On the Way” appeared in 2021 in TiNAO. It improved transport services for residents of small settlements. Since the end of 2022, the service has also been operating in the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

Department of Transport and Road Traffic Infrastructure Development of the City of Moscow continues to develop modern services to improve the quality of passenger service and enhance transport accessibility in areas remote from the city center.
