A themed train dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the O.E. Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) has been launched in the capital’s metro. Passengers will be able to learn about the history of one of Russia’s leading law universities, discover outstanding scholars and teachers who contributed to the development of domestic legal science and education, as well as famous alumni. The branded train will run on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line for six months.

Over 95 years, the university has trained more than 200,000 specialists in the field of jurisprudence. Today, the university remains one of the largest centers for legal education and legal science.

“On the instructions of Sergey Sobyanin, we maintain ongoing cooperation with educational organizations and support projects that help young professionals gain experience. The Moscow Metro and MGUA are developing their collaboration: students undergo practical training at the Metro’s Legal Department and participate in career and educational events. Representatives of the transport sector also serve as experts in professional competitions for law students. The new themed train composition is dedicated to the university’s 95th anniversary — passengers will be able to learn about the university’s history and the development of domestic legal science on the train cars,” noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

Maxim Liksutov.
