An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.
A significant place in Alexander Shilov’s work is occupied by paintings dedicated to outstanding contemporaries — masters of the pen.
In the best traditions of classical realistic art, the painterly and graphic portraits of writers Sergey Mikhalkov and Valentin Rasputin, playwright Viktor Rozov, and many others are executed. The history of the creation of the portrait of the poet, actor, author, and performer of songs Vladimir Vysotsky is interesting, around which visitors to the gallery linger for a long time.
