On September 28, Vladimir Stroev, the rector of the State University of Management, participated in a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation’s commission on the direction “Effective and Competitive Economy.”

The main topic of the meeting was the current aspects of supporting and developing entrepreneurship and the regional experience in launching new industrial development centers.

The chairman of the commission, Governor of the Ryazan Region Pavel Malkov, reminded that the President of the Russian Federation set the task of creating at least one hundred new industrial, technological, and business parks in the country by 2030. Such a systematic approach to the development of regional economies will allow concentrating resources, reducing business costs, and accelerating the launch of new productions.

In order to achieve the set goal, federal authorities continuously update and actualize the list of support measures, taking into account adjustment recommendations from the regions. The State Council Commission will also address these issues. Representatives of federal authorities, regional commissioners for the protection of entrepreneurs’ rights, as well as experts and the business community, participated in the meeting.

Based on the discussion results, the proposals will be systematized and formalized into protocol directives of the State Council Commission on the theme “Effective and Competitive Economy.”

Recall that Vladimir Stroev has been regularly participating in the work of the commission since its first meeting in 2024. In addition, the rector of GUU is an active member of the State Council commission on the “Personnel” direction.
