On the platform “Active Citizen — for Children” an educational quiz began, dedicated to safety rules in urban transport. Young Muscovites learn how to behave in buses, subways, trams, and river vessels, and what to do in unusual situations. The quiz was prepared jointly with the project “Moscow Transport. For Children”.

Quiz questions are adapted to the different ages of participants. Thus, the youngest Muscovites (six to seven years) will answer what to do to avoid falling on a moving bus, which vehicles to avoid approaching from the front, and what to do if you get lost in a large crowd in the metro.

For the older guys (8–10 years) it is necessary to find out how to behave on the escalator, why you should not sleep in the metro, and how to properly board a bus, tram, or metro car so that all passengers are comfortable. In addition, one of the questions will concern fare payment in public transport: young Muscovites will learn when to tap their ticket on the validator.

Participants 11–13 years They will also test knowledge of more complex rules, including those related to river transport. For example, where one is not allowed to board an electric vessel and when it is permitted to get on board. Special attention will be given to safety on the metro platform: teenagers will be reminded what to do if an item falls onto the tracks, as well as what to do if the metro car doors are closing and their friends have already entered.

The quiz will not only help the kids consolidate useful knowledge but also introduce them to interesting facts about the city’s modern transport infrastructure.
