This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Uzbekistan. On September 21, the documentary film “Youth of the Silk Road • Uzbekistan” premiered in Beijing. More than 70 people participated in the event, including representatives of the media, film industry, business, and other fields from both countries, as well as the film crew. The film consists of two parts, with a total duration of 90 minutes. The first part, “In Search of Light,” is dedicated to three young specialists from Generation Z from China and Uzbekistan who work on a photovoltaic energy project by China Energy Engineering Group in Uzbekistan. The second part, “Dream Away from Home,” tells the story of four Uzbek students who came to the Chinese city of Hangzhou to pursue education.
The documentary film is co-produced by the publishing house “Delfin” and China Energy Engineering Group. At the end of September, it will be broadcast on the Sevimli TV channel on YouTube in Uzbekistan, and at the same time will be shown in China.
