Taiyuan, September 19 /Xinhua/ — China successfully launched a new group of satellites into space on Saturday from the Taiyuan Cosmodrome in Shanxi Province /Northern China/.
The PIESAT-2 13-16 satellite group was launched at 18:50 Beijing time using the Long March-2D carrier rocket. The satellites successfully reached their designated orbits.
This launch was the 668th flight mission of the Long March carrier rockets series. –0–
