Representatives of the capital Department of Information Technology and Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations participated in the first international industrial exhibition “Innoprom. India,” which took place from September 9 to 11 in New Delhi. At the Government of Moscow’s stand, key digital developments were presented: a showcase of Moscow solutions based on artificial intelligence and a digital twin of the capital, the city cloud platform for IT teams and developers “Mos.Hub,” and a laptop from the “MosTech” brand with a pre-installed domestic operating system.

“Moscow has extensive experience in implementing technologies across all areas of urban management and is ready to share it with BRICS countries. Over the past three years, delegations from 27 countries, including China, Brazil, India, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and others, have studied the capital’s experience. India’ exhibition allows us to once again showcase the capital’s advanced digital solutions on an international platform. Moscow Government Stand

The Moscow Government exhibition was officially visited by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov and the Minister of Commerce and Industry of India Piyush Goyal. The industrial and technological potential of the capital was presented by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of External Economic and International Relations of the city of Moscow. One of the presented solutions is a laptop from the brand “MosTech” with the pre-installed Russian operating system “MosTech.OS”, the office suite “MosTech.Office”, an email client, and video conferencing tools. The device is compatible with the IT infrastructure of city departments and educational institutions and is designed for full everyday use. Its technical specifications ensure high performance and long battery life.

At the Moscow Government’s stand, the city cloud platform “Mos.Hub” was also demonstrated, which unites services for the full software development cycle, allows sharing best practices, and collaboratively developing IT projects. The number of Mos.Hub users has exceeded 30 thousand, with specialists from more than 80 regions of Russia and over 90 countries around the world, including India, China, Indonesia, and Brazil, visiting the platform.

The Moscow Government’s exposition featured solutions from the capital’s enterprises in the fields of robotics and automation, industrial diagnostics, microelectronics, medical equipment and sterilization technologies, as well as developments for transportation and urban infrastructure. Leading Moscow companies operating in industry, IT, and transportation demonstrated their solutions at the exhibition.

Business program

The Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of External Economic and International Relations Sergey Cheremin held a working meeting at the exhibition with Vivek Pandey, Secretary of the Department of Urban Development of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. They discussed Moscow’s experience in digitalizing urban management, the application of modern IT solutions in the development of the metropolis, as well as possible directions for further cooperation between Moscow and Delhi. Special attention was given to preparing the signing of a cooperation program between the Government of Moscow and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

In addition, Sergey Cheremin participated in the BRICS business forum held at the Bharat Mandapam venue as part of the 18th BRICS Summit. During the business program, representatives of the Moscow Government took part in a session of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Indian analytical center Synergia Foundation titled “Seamless Digital Sky: a new strategic atmosphere,” where prospects for joint projects in the space and technology sectors were discussed. Dmitry Ontoev, advisor to the head of the Moscow City Department of Information Technology, spoke about Moscow’s experience in integrating data from various city systems and sources into a single digital environment using the example of the city’s digital twin.

On September 10, a plenary session titled “Strengthening Russian-Indian trade and industrial partnership — on the path to self-sufficient cooperation” was held at the exhibition with the participation of Anton Alikhanov and Piyush Goyal. They discussed prospects for growth in bilateral trade, as well as the development of cooperation in aviation, energy, and pharmaceuticals.

Moscow is a recognized leader in the field of digitalization, which not only closely monitors global trends but also shapes them itself. Previously, Sergey Sobyanin explained how the capital’s digital solutions help to develop smart cities across Russia — from the Kaliningrad region to the Far East. More than 50 meetings with regional representatives on digitalization issues are held annually. The capital provides them with access to best practices, including in healthcare, education, business, and tourism. Among the projects that generate special interest is the specialized platform “MosMedII,” a tourism service Russpass, “Mos.Hub,” veterinary automated system, subsystems and digital services “Moscow Electronic School” and other solutions.

The first international industrial exhibition “Innoprom. India” is an important event for the development of trade and industrial cooperation between Russia and India. It brings together representatives of government bodies, business, and the expert community of both countries.
