From September 22 to 26, the capital will host the “Day Without Turnstiles” event. For five days, Muscovites and tourists will be able to visit more than 150 sites. Among them are IT companies, high-tech enterprises, factories, workshops, and other organizations. This was reported by Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
“About 220 tours will be conducted for guests: they will be shown the work processes from the inside, informed about available vacancies and internship programs. Registration is already open on
project website. Since the beginning of the year, the campaign has united almost seven thousand people,” noted Natalia Sergunina.
Among the new participants in the event is a manufacturer of equipment for servicing electric transport. The company will open its doors to visitors for the first time. Guests will be able to see how the infrastructure for the capital’s electric buses and trams is created.
Several excursions as part of the event will be dedicated to railway transport. Participants will learn more about the Moscow Central Circle, which turned 10 years, and its historical predecessor, will visit one of the old capital stations and try their hand at being a driver in the training center.
At the children’s literature publishing house, tour participants will get acquainted with creative professions. Guests will follow the entire book creation process—from writing the work to its appearance on the store shelf—and observe the work of editors, proofreaders, layout designers, designers, and other specialists.
In one of the capital’s coffee shop chains, the director will talk about his professional journey in the hospitality industry — from an entry-level position to a leadership role. After that, the head barista will hold a masterclass on creating designs on milk foam and offer guests to taste desserts. Another gastronomic tour awaits participants at the natural food production facility.
Those interested in innovations are invited to take a tour of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow.” During the excursion, guests will get acquainted with the products of resident companies and learn about the role the SEZ plays in the development of the capital’s industry. The tour is intended for participants over 16 years old.
