The in-person stage of the all-Russian media competition “Bloggers at the Auto Giant” took place at PJSC “KAMAZ.”
The large-scale project is designed to introduce a wide audience to the work of student teams at a major industrial enterprise and to tell about KAMAZ as one of the country’s leading employers. The contest participants approached the task creatively, showing the work of the automotive giant through the lens of various professional fields. Their cameras captured five key areas of student team activities: agriculture, medicine, production, pedagogy, construction. This approach allowed demonstrating the multifaceted nature of the enterprise, where specialists of the most diverse profiles are in demand.
The competition consisted of several stages. First, participants prepared creative video business cards on the theme “Mom, I’m going to KAMAZ.” Then, in a remote format, they completed individual tasks according to their specialties. The finalists who passed the selection came to Naberezhnye Chelny to participate in the in-person stage. Bloggers were given the unique opportunity to visit the territory of the KAMAZ Automobile Plant PJSC in person. Here, the contestants communicated with participants of the labor project and conducted interviews with them, as well as filmed the work of trucks on the production sites. In addition, the participants got acquainted with the work of the local TV channel and the youth center, and visited the theater.
It is worth noting that representatives of five regions of Russia made it to the final of the competition. Two participants represented Tatarstan in the in-person stage. Albina Ismurzina, a student of Kazan State Power Engineering University, worked at an enterprise in the summer as part of the All-Russian labor project. Another representative of the republic was Kamilla Fatyhova, an 11th-grade student who has been participating in the activities of youth labor squads for several years.
The absolute winner of the “Bloggers on the Auto Giant” contest was Elena Pushkina, deputy head of the press service of the student teams of the Chuvash Republic, a student at Chuvash State University. Her content received high praise from the expert commission and also gathered the most votes from viewers on VKontakte.
The director of the Republican Center for Student Labor Squads, deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board of Russian Student Squads, Vasily Islaev, emphasized the importance of such initiatives. “Involving young bloggers in covering the work of industrial enterprises helps to acquaint young people with modern Russian production,” noted Vasily Islaev. According to him, students’ stories about factories arouse much more interest and trust among their peers than the classic corporate agenda. This format not only helps popularize working professions but also clearly demonstrates opportunities for the development of young specialists, as well as the advanced technologies used in modern production.
