Representatives of the State University of Management joined the Russian delegation at the international forum dedicated to the visit of the President of Vietnam to Russia.
On September 9, 2026, more than 250 key players from the academic community, government authorities, and high-tech business from Russia and Vietnam met at the Russian-Vietnamese Scientific and Technological Forum.
The Russian delegation at the plenary session was headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov. They emphasized the strategic nature of the Russian-Vietnamese partnership and the special role of universities in technology transfer and the training of engineering personnel for the digital economy.
Our university was represented by Vice-Rector Maria Karelina, Head of the International Cooperation Department Inessa Bogatyreva, and staff of the Department.
The forum took place under the sign of the Russian-Vietnamese Cross Year of Science and Education and was timed to coincide with the state visit of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, to Russia.
The Vietnamese side at the forum was represented by the Deputy Prime Minister of the SRV Government, Tran Hong Ha, and the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Training.
GUU’s participation in such a large-scale international event confirms the university’s status as one of the key centers of competence in management education and strengthens the position of Russian higher education on the international stage.
