A modern sports complex will be built in the Vykhino-Zhulebino district with funds from the city budget. The design of the facility is currently underway. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
“The Vykhino-Zhulebino district is actively developing: a comfortable urban environment is being formed here, and the necessary infrastructure for residents is appearing, including facilities for sports and active recreation. At the intersection of Privolnaya Street and Aviakonstruktora Milya Street, as part of the Targeted Investment Program, it is planned to build the ‘Impulse’ physical culture and wellness complex. The facility is currently being designed: engineers are working on architectural and planning solutions. The building, with an area of about 8,500 square meters, will include swimming pools, a general physical training hall, and other premises. The new sports complex will allow residents of different ages to maintain physical activity close to home,” said Vladimir Yefimov.
The development of architectural and planning solutions is one of the most important stages of design. It will detail the layout of the object’s functional spaces, common areas, and landscaping of the territory.
“The ‘Impulse’ sports complex will be a two-story building with an underground floor and will have wide functionality: it will feature a 25-meter pool and a pool for children’s swimming lessons, as well as an ice rink measuring 60 by 30 meters for training and public skating, with stands accommodating 100 seats. In addition, it will have general physical training and dry swimming halls, locker rooms, a buffet, necessary medical, administrative, and technical facilities,” said the head of the Moscow City Civil Construction Department.
A parking lot for more than 20 cars, including spaces for people with limited mobility and electric vehicles, will be located next to the sports complex building, and the area will also be landscaped.
Earlier, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, together with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, opened the Torpedo stadium after reconstruction.
