The new music season is opened by the Nikolai Ostrovsky Museum and Mosconcert, subordinate to the capital Department of Culture. From October 3, concerts of chamber lyric and vocal classics — from Baroque to contemporary electronics — will take place in the museum’s historic interiors. October 18 The citizens are invited to the musical evening “Once Again About Love,” which will be presented by the ensemble of soloists of the State Chapel of Moscow named after Vadim Sudakov. October 23 At the Nikolai Ostrovsky Museum, there will be a concert titled “Silver Age. Tsvetaeva. Requiem.” On stage is a duet of dramatic actor Igor Afanasyev and soprano Ekaterina Smolina. For an hour and a half, they will share with the audience the swift and tragic fate of Marina Tsvetaeva, one of the greatest poets of the Silver Age.

October 31 A solo concert by Petr Aidu — a pianist, performer on the hammerklavier and harpsichord, and innovator in contemporary music — will take place at the museum. He performs on leading world stages and masterfully combines baroque, academic tradition, and current musical explorations.
