In the Tsaritsyno district, a kindergarten with a swimming pool for 250 places has been built, and it has already accepted its first pupils. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
The building was erected at the address: Sevan Street, house 64.
“A three-story kindergarten with a swimming pool for 250 places has been built in Tsaritsyno. The facility, covering almost six thousand square meters, has become an important element of the district’s social infrastructure. The building houses 10 group units that include play areas, bedrooms, changing rooms, and a buffet. On the first floor, a swimming pool, a music room, and a gymnasium have been equipped. The kindergarten also features a full-cycle technological food unit and a medical office. The kindergarten is already open for the pupils,” said Vladimir Yefimov.
The main entrance is adapted for visitors with limited mobility — it is located at ground level. The building is equipped with three stairwells, as well as a passenger elevator with a load capacity of one thousand kilograms. The protruding part of the second floor forms a shaded canopy over the entrance area, protecting it from sun, snow, and rain.
“The kindergarten building is a rectangular structure consisting of several volumes harmoniously combined into a composition. The facades are designed as an artistic combination of surfaces: the walls are clad with concrete clinker tiles of natural shades, as well as metal panels in bright colors. Stained glass and windows with aluminum frames in gray-beige and golden-yellow colors give the building lightness and a modern appearance. The plinth is finished with dark porcelain stoneware tiles,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the city’s Department of Urban Policy.
Construction work on the facility began in 2023 and was carried out under the supervision of State Construction Supervision Committee of the city of Moscow. As noted by the head of the department Anton Slobodchikov, inspectors conducted 14 on-site inspections, including with the participation of employees from the subordinate Center for Expertise, Research, and Testing in Construction. Specialists assessed the quality of the work performed and the materials used. Based on the final inspection results, a conclusion was drawn regarding the building’s compliance with the requirements of the approved project documentation.
Near the kindergarten, play areas were arranged under shaded canopies for children of different ages, as well as a sports ground and an area for storing strollers and bicycles. The entire territory was landscaped and improved, including the installation of small architectural forms and lighting.
