“Modern changes require responsible public dialogue,” emphasized Professor Vladimir Volokh of the State University of Management at the plenary session of the IV International Youth Analytical Congress “Youth in Greater Eurasia: Potential, Risks, Security, Cooperation” and the I Youth Demographic Forum “Demographic Potential of Eurasia”.
A professor at the Department of Public Administration and Political Technologies of the State University of Management, a member of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on Interethnic Relations, outlined the key challenges of our time in his speech:
“Modern Eurasia is characterized by ethnocultural diversity, high migration mobility, and close interdependence of demographic, social, and economic processes. These changes require not only professional analysis but also responsible public dialogue capable of uniting people and preventing interethnic tension,” noted Vladimir Volokh.
The event brought together leading experts and young researchers. The business part will include several sessions ranging from problem analysis and forecasting outcomes to the use of AI and a project competition on demographic policy.
In addition, at the special session “Young Researchers on the Future of Eurasia: Demography, Migration, Cooperation,” they will discuss the historical experience of social integration, the transformation of values, the role of cross-border and interregional cooperation, as well as scenarios for demographic and migration development up to 2030–2050.
The result of the work will be the summing up and awarding of the winners of the 7th International Competition “Young Eurasian Analyst – 2026”.
The organizers of the congress and forum were: the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, the International Analytical Club “Issyk-Kul — Greater Eurasia”, the Eurasian Information and Analytical Consortium, the Association for the Promotion of the Development of Analytical Potential of Personality, Society and State “Analytics”, the Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Scientific Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Scientific Council “Socio-political and Demographic Problems of the Formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)” under the Department of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
