The guests of the exhibition “Far East Street,” which was opened as part of the Eastern Economic Forum – 2026 and ran from September 1 to 7, numbered more than 50,000 people. The organizer was the “Roscongress” Foundation with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District.
“We created the exhibition ‘Far East Street’ so that investors, economists, experts, political and public figures coming to the Eastern Economic Forum not only learn about Primorsky Krai and get acquainted with Vladivostok, but also get an idea of the economic opportunities, city renewal, tourism, and culture of all other Far Eastern territories. Every year our regions update their exhibits, showing what people live by, what opportunities investors can gain, why Far Easterners love their cities and what they are proud of. And every year we evaluate the efforts of the heads of the subjects and their teams, selecting the best pavilions to encourage those who managed to surprise and attract attention to their region,” said Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, head of the exhibition’s organizing committee Yuri Trutnev.
At the exhibition, 11 Far Eastern regions presented their key projects and achievements in the fields of economy, culture, and tourism. The venue also featured the stands of the Ministry of Sports “House of Sports” and “GTO Arena,” the joint pavilion of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic “Developing the Far East,” the pavilion “Tourism.RF,” the “Falcon House” space, the Arab village, and the exhibition of the “Warrior” center. The Primorsky Krai organized the operation of the Fish Market.
“The exhibition “Far East Street” is a unique format that allows participants of the Eastern Economic Forum, residents, and guests of Primorsky Krai to learn about the present and future of the Far Eastern territories, as well as to get acquainted with the development strategies of the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District offered by specialized development institutions, ministries, and departments. At the same time, the event tells about the cultural heritage of the Far East, its unique nature, and history. Thus, the exhibition promotes the unveiling of the investment and tourist potential of the Far Eastern regions, becoming a tool for generating interest in them both in Russia and abroad. The “Soul of Russia” project is developing in the same vein, which the President noted during his speech at the EEF. It is a platform that unites cultural traditions of various regions of Russia and contemporary creative practices and becomes a space for intercultural interaction,” emphasized Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the President of Russia and executive secretary of the EEF organizing committee.
The unifying theme of the exhibition was the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Concerts, performances by folk groups and artists were organized in the pavilions. In addition, this theme occupied an important place in the presented exhibits.
The 11th Eastern Economic Forum took place from September 1 to 4 at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. The main theme of the forum was “The Far East – development for the benefit of the people.” The organizer of the EEF was the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government.
