The Moscow Small Business State Institution (MSBI) will hold a free webinar series “From Self-Employment to Individual Entrepreneur — Step by Step” from September 16 to October 21. Participants will compare doing business as a self-employed person and as an individual entrepreneur (IE), determine the optimal tax regime, and receive a detailed algorithm for transitioning to the new status. In addition, each attendee will receive practical materials to help them through this process.
Will open the webinar series “Self-Employment or Individual Entrepreneur: How to Choose the Optimal Form for Your Business”. It will take place on September 16. The listeners will compare the features of self-employment and individual entrepreneurship, the advantages and limitations of these statuses for different types of activities, and will also discuss how to consider income, work specifics, and development plans when choosing a form of business.
Webinar “Tax Regimes for Small Businesses: What to Choose and How to Save” will take place on September 23. Experts will compare various tax regimes and explain how to calculate the burden for your business.
The third webinar — “How to develop and scale your business” — will take place on October 7. It will be dedicated to preparing businesses for growth. Entrepreneurs will learn how to establish workflows, delegate tasks, hire their first employees, and which metrics should be assessed before scaling.
Will conclude the webinar series “Transition Workshop: From Idea to Registration and First Steps of an Individual Entrepreneur”, which will take place on October 21. Participants will analyze the algorithm for registering as an individual entrepreneur through examples. In addition, they will learn how to select a code from the All-Russian Classifier of Economic Activities, open a checking account, and start working with clients.
The speakers of the series will be Roman Titov, managing director of the service for organizing recruitment and support of the self-employed at a large domestic bank, as well as business mentor Yulia Komarova.
The webinars will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Participation is free and available by pre-registration for each of them.
The webinar series “From Self-Employment to Individual Entrepreneur — Step by Step” was developed and organized by MBM together with a major domestic bank, as well as the employment center of the city of Moscow.
