PJSC “KAMAZ” is participating in the 16th International Security Equipment Exhibition “Comprehensive Security,” which is being held from September 3 to 5 in Kazan at the “Kazan Expo” venue.
The structure of the exhibition exposition reflects the main technological segments of the security industry: fire safety, civil defense, rescue technologies, digital security systems, unmanned and robotic complexes. The “KAMAZ” exposition features fire trucks of two different generations – the high-tech K5 and the time-tested K3, as well as the latest ground robotic complex VARAN PL-30.
The fire engine AC-4.0-50/4 on the KAMAZ-63934 (4×2) chassis of the new K5 generation is designed to deliver a firefighting crew of six people to the fire site, as well as firefighting equipment for extinguishing fires with water and air-mechanical foam. The increased payload capacity of the chassis allows for transporting 4000 liters of water. To extinguish fires, the vehicle is also equipped with a foam concentrate tank with a capacity of 240 liters. The NCPK-50/100-4/400 pump has a performance of 50 l/s at normal pressure stage (pressure 100 m) and 4 l/s at high pressure (pressure not less than 400 m). It is worth noting that the KAMAZ-63934 chassis was specially created for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Under the hood is an economical 310 hp engine. The K5 cab without a sleeping place meets all modern global ergonomics and comfort requirements. The fire truck is 8 m long, 2.55 m wide, and 3.7 m high. The vehicle’s gross weight is 19 tons.
Also at the “Comprehensive Security” exhibition, a fire tanker AC 6.0-70 on the KAMAZ-53991 chassis is on display. The tank capacity of this model is 6,000 liters, and the foam agent tank capacity is 360 liters. The total weight of the fire truck is 20,200 kg.
The 2026 novelty that attracted special interest from visitors was the ground robotic complex VARAN PL-30, designed to enhance the safety of firefighting crews. The development of the complex and preparation for mass production is the result of joint work by KAMAZ specialists and the robotics manufacturer JSC Monolit, with scientific and methodological support from the EMERCOM Academy of the Russian Federation (AGPS), within the framework of a roadmap coordinated with the Russian EMERCOM for the development of light-class unmanned robotic technical complexes (URTC).
The main advantage of the VARAN PL-30 is its remote control capability for extinguishing fires in areas where human presence or the use of large-scale equipment is dangerous or technically impossible. The compact tracked chassis allows firefighting equipment to be delivered directly to the fire epicenter, including in conditions of missile threat when personnel actions are limited. Operating time in turret control mode is at least 24 hours, the turret’s productivity is 30 liters per second, and the range of the compact jet reaches 50 meters, allowing effective fire suppression from a safe distance for the operator. There is protection against thermal flux exposure—a cooling system. Upon the customer’s request, the robot can be equipped with a thermal imaging camera, a secure communication system, a gas analyzer, and other additional devices. The robot also allows evacuation of wheeled chassis equipment weighing up to 1000 kg. The complex has already demonstrated its effectiveness in extinguishing fires at oil and gas facilities. The platform’s own weight is 440 kg, dimensions: 1470x1230x1400 mm.
Over 15 years of existence, the “Comprehensive Security” salon has established itself as the largest specialized exhibition platform in Russia in the field of security technology. In 2026, the event is being held for the first time in Kazan, which has recently become a center for global business, sports, and cultural events. The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is expected that more than 20,000 specialists from over 30 countries will participate and visit the salon – representatives of federal and regional authorities, industrial enterprises, scientific organizations, and foreign delegations.
