Yuri Trutnev: Unity will become the central theme of the opening ceremony of the “Far East Street” exhibition at the EEF-2026

On September 1 at 11:00, the solemn opening ceremony of the exhibition “Far East Street” titled “Far East – Unity in Our Hearts” will take place. The organizer of the exhibition is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District.

“The ‘Far East Street’ exhibition has become a traditional part of the Eastern Economic Forum. We want to show how multifaceted the Russian Far East is, why we love it and what we are proud of, what the Far Eastern regions live by and how they see their future. This is not only about economic achievements, new investment projects, modernization of existing and launching of new enterprises. First and foremost, it is about improving people’s quality of life. Urban and public spaces are changing, new schools, kindergartens, and clinics are appearing, cultural and sports facilities are being created. Here you can also get acquainted with the cultural wealth and traditions of more than a hundred nationalities and peoples. I am confident that the participants and guests of the EEF will see and learn a lot of new things at the exhibition and will want to visit the Far Eastern regions that they like,” said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.

The ceremony program will include the choreographic suite “We are the Far East,” performed by representatives of the Far Eastern regions accompanied by the combined show ballet of Primorsky Krai, an honored collective of Primorsky Krai, the exemplary choreographic ensemble “Alisa.” In addition, the audience will be treated to the vocal and choreographic composition “Russian Soul,” performed by vocalists from 11 Far Eastern regions.

Also, within the ceremony, the opening of the IV International Forum “Falcon Day” will take place, which traditionally occurs on the first day of the Eastern Economic Forum.

The exhibition “Far East Street” is designed to showcase the achievements, uniqueness of culture, and customs of the macroregion, as well as its economic potential. It will feature pavilions from 11 Far Eastern regions, booths from the Russian Ministry of Sports, a joint pavilion of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Development Corporation of the Far East and the Arctic “Developing the Far East,” the “Falcon House” space, and an exhibition from the “Warrior” center.

The EEF will be held from September 1 to 4 in Vladivostok at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme: “The Far East – development for the benefit of the people.” The organizer of the forum is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of Russia.
