Today, mining labor combines age-old traditions of mining with the most advanced innovative technologies. The industry is actively being updated—automation and robotics are being implemented, productivity and labor safety are increasing. The development guidelines for the industry for decades ahead are set out in Russia’s Energy Strategy until 2050, which preserves a significant role for coal in the energy balance of the country and the world.

Dear workers and veterans of the coal industry! Your work requires incredible endurance, skill, and courage. Every day you prove that the most challenging tasks can be accomplished by those truly dedicated to their work. Special words of gratitude go to the veterans and labor dynasties.
