The industry is actively renewing itself — automation and robotics are being implemented, productivity and labor safety are increasing. The development guidelines for the industry for decades ahead are enshrined in Russia’s Energy Strategy up to 2050, which maintains a significant role for coal in the country’s and the world’s energy balance.
